First time to Pizza Norcia, and let me just say, it has been added to our list of "must go" for amazing wood fired pizza. The service was very attentive. Pizzas were spot on. We ordered the Porter (added olives) and Niccolo. The garlic on the Porter made the flavors pop. The homemade sauce was very flavorful on the Niccolo. Also has a house salad, refreshing and simple. Great way to start our meal. Didn't have any of the blonde beer brewed specifically for the restaurant, but they did have Amador Brewing Kolsch on tap, which was refreshing. Such a gem in a small foothill town.

We have seen this cute place as we go on Harley rides and heard from others it was incredible. So FINALLY last Friday we stopped to try it. And we were NOT disappointed! It was fantastic. We each ordered a pizza and it was delicious, fresh and light! And to read in their website that they try to source local and organic was a huge PLUS. How fun to watch it be cooked in the massive wood burning oven. What an adorable atmosphere and decor, along with the very friendly owner and simply delicious food. A triple threat in our book. We'll be back soon!

Well ... I'm back. This time I called in an order for pickup. It was around 5:30pm on a Saturday night. The wood fired oven baked pizzas are just delicious. A bit of Norcia Italy right on the main drag of the little old historic town of El Dorado. The place is modern and comfortable with a chill, casual atmosphere. It's in a beautifully renovated building. I ordered a bambino pizza with pepperoni and green olives. $22. The pizza was baked perfectly this time. Last time it was undercooked with the middle of the pizza having a soft wetish middle. Not this time though. The crust had a beautiful blister and nice soft crisp chew. The castelvetrano olives come from Italy, they have a nice salty, buttery flavor. The pepperoni were little thin slices and when baked, they curled up like little cups with crisp edges and releasing a bit of the greasy tastiness. The pizza had a good number of pepperoni slices. The dining room , with its open wall concept, can get warm in the hot summer months and cold in the winter even with its ceiling fans and heaters.

came here on a Friday night on our way up to Camino to visit friends. It was busy. Our friend told us to order right away because food is taking long. It's one of those order then find a table kinda place. While in line looking at their menu online, I noticed there's a way to place an order online for pick up and it was only 40 mins wait. To skip a few people infront of me, we ordered our food online We got the truffle pizza w prosciutto, the beets salad, an ale and an ipa. The food did take long to be ready but honestly it was worth it. The food was delicious. The beet salad was fresh. The only regret I have is I wish I ordered two pizza to try a different one and wouldn't mind having leftover. The owner ended up showing up to help w the service. He was nice enough to bring us plates for our food (since we ordered online our food came as to go). He also checked up on us a few times which was really nice. If you're in the area, I def recco this place, order your pizza online and get at least two different kind!
